2012 NBA Second Round

One round is in the books and another one has already begun. Sunday saw the last game of the 2012 first round played in an ugly style that left the Memphis fans booing and the Clippers still standing. Just after that the Miami Heat took a 1-0 lead over the Pacers behind the newly crowned MVP, LeBron James. The Heat’s win equaled Boston’s from the night before while the Lakers game 7 victory gave them a date in Oklahoma City Monday night for game 1. Since there wasn’t a time when the first round was over and the second round yet to start, I have to give my predictions with a little help from Boston and Miami. Here is a hint though; their game 1’s didn’t really change what I thought about each series. Anyway, here are my predictions for the four second round series’…

Sunday was the 38th and final match day of the 2011-12 Barclays Premier League season, and what an unbelievable day it was. All ten games kicked off at the same time and keeping up with all of it was thrilling stuff. There was plenty of drama, and as has been the case this season, it was left late. NBA Playoffs, One Week Down

We have now seen one full week of NBA Playoff action and lets just say that there is not a lack of story lines. Whether it is Derrick Rose going down, Rajon Rondo’s bump, or Amare Stoudemire’s extinguished hand there is plenty going on, besides the basketball on display. Aside from the highlights and talking points, there are a few teams playing some really good ball, so let’s examine that in a weekend 5: Playoff edition.
